A warm welcome to Le Noyer

Situated in the Perigord Vert region of the Dordogne this traditional set of restored barns are set at the top of the Dronne Valley just outside a village named Douchapt, the gites have outstanding & uninterrupted views over the countryside and are an ideal base for holidaymakers looking for a peaceful location but in a central location for sightseeing.

Pool for one bedThe gites have their own private gardens overlooking farmland and the Dronne Valley (the sunsets are glorious).  The one bed gite shares the owners 5m circular swimming pool (pic left) and the two bed gite has its own private  swimming pool (pic right). Both gites have been sympathetically restored keeping all the old features like stone walls and fireplaces, large beams, stone floors but with all the creature comforts added.  The gites both have heating and are, therefore, ideal as out of season holiday lets or as bases for house hunting with the owners on hand to offer advice and point you in the right direction.

There is EXCELLENT FISHING on our doorstep, one of our guests this year caught 30lb & 24lb carp within a 2 week stay!! Glorious walking (see our page on walking holidays) and cycling routes around the village, local woods and the whole area, and watersport enthusiasts are spoilt for choice in location and choice of sport.  We are surrounded by rivers and lakes that are open to the public for swimming, canoeing, boating and more.  You'll be spoilt for choice and can be assured of a fantastic holiday whether it be relaxing or active.
